DRAFT SCHEDULE INFORMATION
Notes on the make up of the schedule:
- Date and time are dictated by the Home team’s field constraints
- Stock start times were used unless otherwise indicated
- Boys games Friday 6:00 & 7:30 – Saturday 9:00am
- Girls games Friday 6:00 & 7:15 – Saturday 9:00am
- Time and Field changes can be expected
- Opponent changes are unlikely
- The goal was not to exceed 50 minutes for any drive. Most games are well below that (average travel time is about 30 minutes). However, some games can push the 60 minute mark
- Friday/Saturday games; a very high percentage of the teams have preference/availability and field availability for Friday games only. Teams needing to play on Saturdays will see farther travel distances
5/6 and 7/8 Teams Playing Back to Back
- While programs with teams at both 5/6 and 7/8 would usually prefer these teams to play back to back at home and away, this has become increasingly difficult over the years.
- More programs only have 1 team (a 5/6 OR a 7/8) so there is no 2nd team to play and that can split up somones teams
- Majorty of teams do not have lights and can only host 1 game ona Friday night. This splits up there's and opponents teams.
- More programs than ever had teams in differnent divisions, meaning different preferred opponents, leading to the splitting up of where 5/6 and 7/8 teams played.

DOUBLE HEADER WEEKS & CROSS DIVISION PLAY
GIRLS Doubleheader Weekends
- Due to an odd number of teams at Girls 5/6 and 7/8, 14 teams have an extra game. They have been scheduled for both a Friday and Saturday game on the same weekend. If you are playing a team on a doubleheader, please provide some flexibility if needed for one of the games to be rescheduled for another date.
Cross Division Play
- Given the small number of teams in many divisions, there is cross division play. There should only be one level (up or down) for cross-division play (i.e. D2 to D1, D3 to D4 etc. a D1 team should not be playing a D3 or D4 team).
HOW TO SUBMIT DRAFT SCHEDULE NOTES
Review Schedule for Accuracy and Requestion Changes to the Draft Schedule: Who Can, Why and How
- Review the girls and boys schedules for accuracy to ensure there are no errors or double bookings. You are only responsible for your home team but please coordinate between boys and girls teams schedules.
- All changes must be requested through the Google Form Below. Requests made via any other manner will not be processed.
- Only the HOME team may submit a change request.
- Game opponents are based on division, travel preference, geography, and team/field availability. It is very unlikely that changes to opponents will be granted.
- The vast majority of drive times are 40 minutes or less. There are some farther distances due to number of teams in certain regions, field availability, etc.

ROSTERS DUE BY MARCH 16th
SELECT LEAGUE ROSTER ELIGIBILITY
All players must meet MYL Select League roster eligibility criteria in order to be placed on a roster and to participate in the MYL Select League. Every player MUST play for their town Classic Team in order to participate in Select League play. Refer to the Roster Eligibility Criteria CLICK HERE to ensure that all rostered players meet eligibility requirements.
SELECT TEAM ROSTERS
All coaches and players MUST be rostered on Demosphere by Monday March 16, 2026 at 11:59pm
Towns on Demosphere
- You must create your rosters on your local OTTO Sport site.
- If you created your Select Teams under a different season than Classic (which is ok), you MUST sync that season to MYL 2026 the same way your Classic Season is synced.
- You MUST roster all coaches and players to your Select Teams. Rosters will be frozen on March 17, 2026 and you will NOT be able to add any players or coaches without approval from the Select Committee.
Towns NOT on Demosphere
- Every player on your select teams MUST have been submitted in your Player Data Upload. CLICK HERE to download the Player Data Template for your town to submit all 2026 Player Data.
- Any player on your Select Team not from your Classic program must have been registered or submitted by their home program.
- Every coach on your select team MUST have been submitted in your Coach Data Upload. CLICK HERE to download the Coach Data Template for your town to submit all 2026 Coaches.

- Complete and return to Kevin Barney at kevin.barney@massyouthlax.org by Monday March 16, 2026 at 11:59pm.
Failure to have complete rosters (coaches and players) by Monday March 16, 2026 at 11:59pm will result in your team(s) taking a loss for game 1 (and future games for which the roster is not submitted by the following Mondays). You MUST still play the games even if your team(s) will be credited with a 1-0 L.
