Associate Officials must register with Mass Youth Lacrosse prior to each season. Registration fee for the 2023 season is $15 per Associate Official.

Upon completion of registration AND the EMLOA Training, you will be eligible to be assigned to officiate MYL games. AO's are assigned to games by the home team youth program directors. Please CLICK HERE for the MYL Boys Game Officials info and Pay Rate Card for more information.

MYL McCrae Williams Associate Officials Scholarship: 

This scholarship is for Associate Officials (AO) who are registered with Mass Youth Lacrosse (MYL) for the 2023 season. MYL will provide ten (10) $150 scholarships and four (4) $250 scholarships to cover the upfront costs for a High School student to become an AO. McCrae Williams was a former Associate Official for MYL who tragically passed in college. His family started  the McCrae Williams Foundation in his name and MYL is carrying on his love for the game and dedication to give back to the game in being a youth game official. Submission must be made by February 28 at 11:59pm. Winners will be announced in March.

MYL JAMBOREE -- AOs NEEDED

MYL will host a 4-day Jamboree at Fort Devens on June 10-11 and17 and 18 with games on 16 fields from 8am-6pm each day. A great opportunity for AOs to earn money and gain more experience. If you are interested in working as an AO at the Jamboree, please fill out an interest form HERE.
