The Fall 2024 Sticks in Hands Grant Application Period Has CLOSED

Every kid deserves a chance to play lacrosse. Mass Youth Lacrosse recognizes the rising cost of youth sports has left some families and communities behind. This fall, MYL will provide 10 complete junior lacrosse sticks to 10 town programs to help get lacrosse sticks in the hands of more kids across Massachusetts. 

All interested town programs must submit an application to be considered for a stick donation. Applications are accepted 9/23-10/7 at 6pm EST.

To be considered:

1. You must submit on behalf of a Mass Youth Lacrosse Town Program in good standing.
2. Town Program must have participated in MYL 2024 season
3. Application must describe how your town program will utilize the sticks to Grow The Game in your town.

These sticks could be used to run no-cost or low-cost learn-to-play events in town, eliminating the need for kids to buy a stick to try it. Others may choose to give the sticks to new players who otherwise couldn’t afford to play.  

Chosen programs will be announced and notified on Thursday, October 17.
