The 2024 MYL Select League All Star Games will return to Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy, MA with an expanded format over 2-days! Boys All Star Games will be played on Saturday, August 10 and Girls All Star Games will be played on Sunday, August 11.

New for 2024 is an second 6th and 8th grade game for both boys & girls so more players can participate (see rosters to see which team you are on)!

All select teams (boys & girls) will nominate 1 lower grade (5th & 7th) player and 2 upper grade (6th & 8th) players.

Date:             Saturday, August 10 AND Sunday, August 11, 2024

Location:      Veterans Memorial Stadium; Quincy, MA

Participating Players Info and FAQs:

• Games will be played rain or shine. Only lightning/dangerous conditions would result in a delay. Every effort will be made to get all games in, including delayed starts or shortened games. Extended delays could cause games to be shortened or canceled. Delays/changes will be posted on social media (Facebook and Instagram).
• Please arrive 1 hour prior to your game and check-in at the MYL Tent just inside GATE C.
• You will receive a game jersey top. Your All Star Game Jersey Number is NOT the same as your regular season number. These were randomly assigned.
• Players must bring all other clothes and game equipment.
• You will be directed to a locker room to get ready and meet your team and coaches.
• Teams will have 30 minutes on the field immediately prior to the game to practice and warm up. 
• Players should bring all equipment and water bottle (refilling jugs will be on the field).
• Boys games will be Four 15 minute running time quarters
• Girls games will be Two 25 minute running time halves.
• The 2 games at 6th grade and 8th grade are NOT related to Division 1 or 2 regular season. All 4 teams were evenly made based on positions and numbers of players.
• Games will be recorded (weather permitting) using a Veo Camera and video will be posted online by Tuesday.
• All Star Game tshirts, sweatshirts and hats will be available for purchase on site.
• Hot Dog Trolley will be on site selling food and drinks.
• SPECTATORS 
  • This is a FREE event to attend.
  • NO PETS ALLOWED in Veterans Stadium
  • All spectators must watch from the bleachers on the opposite side of the field from the team benches.

VETERANS STADIUM PARKING:

Street parking is available on the Southern Artery and Hancock St (in designated parking spots), and in the Red and Blue Parking Lots on the map below-

 

VETERAN STADIUM DIRECTIONS:

From the North:

Southeast Expressway (I-93s) to Exit 12  – Neponset.  

Pass under the expressway and onto Neponset River Bridge.

Stay to the right as you go over the bridge.

Look for signs –  Quincy, “Route 3A, Hancock St.”

Follow signs for 3A south to 3A Hancock St.

Follow Hancock St. for approx 2.5 miles. Field will be on the left inside Veterans Stadium.

 

From the South:

Take Rt-3 North or Rt-128 south to I-93 north (Southeast Expressway) to exit 8 Furnace Brook Parkway.

Bear right off the exit, Gulf Station on the right, Saturn Car Dealership on the left, two sets of lights.

Go straight through the lights staying on Furnace Brook Parkway.

Go through the next 3 sets of lights.

At 4th set of lights take a left onto Hancock Street. 

Veterans Stadium will be on your right, 1/4 mile down Hancock St. on your RIGHT, just after the MBTA bus garage. Go past the Stadium and turn right.

 

                                                           

Event Description

Mass Youth Lacrosse Select teams will nominate players to participate in the All-Star Games. Players will be divided into two balanced teams to compete in the games.

• The All-Star games will take place at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy, former home of the Boston Cannons. 
• Players should plan to arrive 60 minutes ahead of their scheduled game to register, meet their coaches & teammates, and warm up.
• All players will receive an MYL Select All-Star game jersey to wear in the game and keep as a memento.
